The Secret's in the Sauce

It all began with barbecue sauce. A long-time family recipe for barbecue sauce was so good that we all agreed we should bottle and sell it. Our fantasy found fuel when, one glorious autumn day, on a drive through the mountains of southern Colorado, we spotted our ranch. With its massive entrance gate of huge timbers topped with a gigantic set of carved wooden longhorns, the ranch beckoned us. "That's the ranch we will buy when we sell our delicious barbecue sauce," we thought. We decided we would name our ranch Tuxedo Ranch, a kind of upscale yet down-home feeling - much like our sauce - which would offer something for everyone's palette.

Our foray into the gourmet food market was shorter-lived than expected, however. The little guy just couldn't compete for shelf space in the grocery store. The last straw was when we were advised to water our recipe down to make it affordable - compromising our product was not an option. Sadly it was the idea, not the barbecue sauce, that was shelved for the time being.

Ever the entrepreneurial types, we explored our options. As art lovers, we thought about connecting our extended network of artists and craftsmen with corporate buyers seeking wonderful and unique gifts. We discovered that many companies have a need for more common promotional items, such as customized products and apparel. So we decided to add in our twist, taking the uncommon approach to supplying the common product by putting time, thought, and creativity into our client's needs and orders. Thus was born Tuxedo Ranch, providers of high-quality custom promotional products and apparel. The name has served us well, and people seldom forget us because of it. Clients large and small now rely on Tuxedo Ranch for meaningful custom product solutions and great design.
